Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
in Wilmington, DE is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to provide assessment and therapeutic support to students.
This contract position is available for the current school year
(CSY), offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on
student communication development within an educational setting.
Key responsibilities include: Conducting speech and language
evaluations to identify student needs Developing and implementing
individualized treatment plans Collaborating with teachers,
parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate records
Participating in meetings related to student IEPs and progress
monitoring Qualifications and desired experience: Valid and current
SLP certification, preferably holding a Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC) Experience working as an SLP in school settings,
preferably with K-12 students Strong knowledge of speech-language
disorders and intervention strategies Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills to engage effectively with students, families,
and school staff Ability to manage caseload and prioritize
