Physical Therapy Assistant 45 – 55 Per Hour | Full-Time | Santa Ana, CA | School-Based | 2026-2027 school year | About the Role: Plan and deliver specialized therapy techniques through individual or group sessions to meet the goals outlined in the Individual Education Plans (IEP). Provide therapy to children aged 0 to 22 with various medical diagnoses, including orthopedic impairments and developmental disorders. What You'll Do: - Consultation & Instruction: Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate therapy into classroom-based activities. Partner with a Physical Therapist to discuss and refine treatment plans, ensuring supervision and alignment with therapeutic goals. Engage with parents to incorporate their child's therapy program into daily routines. - Data Collection & Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate documentation for all student therapy sessions and progress. - Time Off Management for Full-Time School Employees: Employees are encouraged to schedule their time off during school breaks. Time off requests will be reviewed and approved by the supervisor to ensure minimal disruption to normal operations.
