Primarily responsible for meeting the technical needs of all weekend services, church ministries and special events; leadership and oversight of all production, set-up, and teardown teams for the auditorium; recruitment, development, training volunteer production teams; research, purchase installation and ongoing maintenance of all technical equipment. You will provide rental clients support for booking and day of production assistance. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of rental service, from consulting, equipment, and personnel programming to product support.Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and direct a comprehensive Technical Ministry to meet the needs of the ministry of Coast Hills Church.
  • Promote teamwork, fellowship, accountability, and spiritual growth within the Production Team.
  • Act as a point person for requested produced videos from all departments.
  • Lead hands on, on the job training for new technical volunteers.Production & Rentals:
    • Provide technical support for all services, programs, and events.
    • Supervise set-up and tear down of all technical elements for adult weekend services.
    • Run rehearsal of weekend in partnership with Pastor and Worship team.
    • Primary troubleshooter for any technical issues that arise on weekends.
    • Work alongside fellow team members to build strategies to increase rentals.
    • Operating sound systems, camera, video control system etc.
    • Coordinate equipment needs and plan delivery schedules to fulfill client's rental orders.
    • Responsible for all equipment inventory.
    • Keeping Facility Director and Executive Pastor involved.Weekly Prep:
      • Represent the Production Team and creatively contribute at staff meetings as available.
      • Communicate Production Team vision, needs and opportunities to the church body, staff, and volunteers.
      • Work with team to implement weekend stage design.
      • Ensure that weekly volunteer production, set-up and teardown teams are staffed and scheduled.Other Responsibilities:
        • Attend assigned or all staff meetings.
        • Maintain clear lines of communication in a timely manner between all personnel involved in services and events.
        • Conduct leadership interviews and performance evaluations.
        • Equipping volunteers to serve within their spiritual gifts and passions.
        • Contribute as part of the Coast Hills staff team to accomplish the church vision.
        • Other duties deemed by supervisor.Qualifications:
          • A committed, growing follower of Jesus Christ
          • Experience and expertise in live performance productions specifically in computer graphics.
          • Intermediate to advanced level computer skills including Keynote (or PowerPoint); ProPresenter or similar live graphics presentation software; and web-based applications.
          • A team player who is flexible, understands and supports the vision of the church, policies, and procedures.
          • Strong work ethic, dependable, reliable, and passionate about technical arts creativity and excellence that will impact lives for the Kingdom of Christ.
          • Authentic and consistent in his/her own spiritual walk and relationships.Physical Demands:The employee must possess mobility to work in a standard officeenvironment and to use standard office equipment, including acomputer. Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision to read printed material and a computer screen, close vision, color vision and depth perception; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. The employee must also frequently use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, controls. The employee must be able to attend meetings at various sites.Lift a minimum of 50 pounds.These responsibilities are a general overview of the job duties and may be changed as the need may arise.
