Endo Tech / GI Tech Location: Mission Hills, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,600 to $1,760 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $40.00 - $44.00/Hourly. Summary: A GI/Endoscopy Technician assists physicians and nurses during gastrointestinal (GI) procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies. They are responsible for preparing equipment, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures. Locals accepted at lower rate Responsibilities: Prepare procedure rooms and set up endoscopy equipment and instruments. Assist physicians during GI procedures (e.g., upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy). Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopes and related equipment according to protocols. Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of endoscopy equipment. Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and basic instructions. Monitor and document patient information during procedures. Requirements Requirements: 1 - Year experience Required, BLS Certification, Certification as an Endoscopy Technician, LA City Fire Card, SGNA Preferred, Locals accepted at lower rate.
