Job Description:
At Johnson Controls, we are committed to enhancing the

through advanced building technologies. We are currently seeking a
highly skilled Controls Security & Fire System Engineer III to join
our engineering and maintenance department. The ideal candidate
will be proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining
state-of-the-art fire safety and security systems to ensure optimal
building efficiency and safety. This role demands a keen attention
to detail, a strong understanding of building codes and safety
regulations, and a dedication to innovative engineering solutions.
Design and implement security and fire safety systems tailored to
project requirements and in alignment with all regulatory
standards. Conduct system analysis, configuration, and upgrades to
enhance system performance and reliability. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams including architects, contractors, and
project managers to ensure seamless integration of security and
fire systems. Provide technical support and troubleshooting
assistance for systems-related issues. Prepare detailed
documentation including system designs, specifications, and
maintenance schedules. Stay updated with the latest industry
trends, technologies, and regulations related to building materials
and fire & security systems. Lead and mentor junior engineers and
support staff to promote an environment of continuous learning and
improvement. Strong understanding of control systems, security
systems, and fire safety engineering. Proficiency in CAD software
and other engineering design tools. Excellent problem-solving
capabilities and attention to detail. Ability to work on multiple
projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines. Strong
communication and teamwork skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Fire
Protection Specialist (CFPS) preferred. Professional Engineer (PE)
license is beneficial.
