Job Description:
("Job Title": "CT Technologist 1", "Job Summary": "We are
seeking a skilled CT Technologist 1 to join our team at Loma Linda
University. As a CT Technologist 1, you will be responsible for
performing Computed Tomography (CT) scans based on prescribed
protocols. You will prepare patients physically and mentally, use
equipment safely, and conduct yourself professionally. You will
utilize National Patient Safety Goals (NSPG), requiring two patient
identifiers for each exam. You will maintain radiation safety
regulations and immunology protocols. You will work with clinical
students as required. You will maintain and continue to increase
knowledge and experience of routine diagnostic CT exams. You will
follow HIPAA and corporate compliance guidelines. You will perform
other duties as needed.\n\n**Requirements:**\n\n* Graduate from an
accredited American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
approved program in Radiologic Technology\n* One year of experience
in Computer Tomography (CT) preferred\n\n**Knowledge and
Skills:**\n\n* Knowledge of CT Radiology procedures, CT Scanners,
radiation safety, universal precautions, immunology protocols, and
general office software and equipment\n* Skill to apply knowledge
of CT Scanners and radiology procedures to produce contrast and
non-contrast studies of all body locations\n* Skill to ensure all
scans adhere to radiation safety, universal protections, and
immunology\n* Ability to complete paperwork correctly and
efficiently and maintain rooms orderly and clean\n* Ability to
read; write legibly; speak in English (and Spanish preferred) with
professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs
necessary to the position, e.g., Microsoft Office, Outlook,
electronic event reporting program, established organization
electronic medical record; comprehend and follow-through with
instructions; ability to relate and communicate positively,
effectively, and professionally with others; be assertive and
consistent in following and enforcing policies; lead, supervise,
teach, and accept direction; think critically and use good
judgment; problem solve and collaborate with licensed care
providers as necessary\n* Ability to work in a challenging clinical
environment; demonstrate self-motivation; work independently with
minimal supervision; communicate effectively in English in person,
in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; perform basic
math and statistical functions; compose written material; multitask
and manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and
prioritize workload; problem solve; recall information with
accuracy; pay close attention to detail\n* Ability to hear
sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the
telephone; identify and distinguish various sounds associated with
the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens and written
documents necessary to position\n\n**Licensures and
Certifications:**\n\n* Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT),
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), Basic
Life Support, (BLS) Certification, and IV Certification required\n*
Computed Tomography (CT) ARRT Registry eligible and must be taken
within 6 months of hire date\n* ARRT (CT) must be obtained within
